RT Week at Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) has been recognized and celebrated for many years.

Normally, there would have been interactive public displays at our community kiosks, daily “Lunch & Learns”, social activities, hospital news announcements as well as the announcement of the award recipients for two HHS Respiratory Therapy awards.

This year was most certainly a bit different, but there were many great virtual educational offerings and lots of RT pride!  Respiratory Therapy awards of distinction typically coincide with RT Week but were a bit delayed this year.  The award presentation ceremony size was limited in person but was also on ZOOM…pretty amazing how quickly we can adapt to change, isn’t it?!?

Heartfelt congratulations to Marissa Wills (left) on receiving the HHS RT Bedside Teaching Award and to both Claudia Poulin (middle) and Kendra Mantha (right) on receiving HHS Respiratory Therapy Excellence Awards, and some well-deserved professional recognition for being awesome!
