I am excited to be joining the RTSO Board of Directors as Secretary and to support our members as an advocate for our incredible profession.

I completed a B.A. in Child and Youth Studies in 2010 and worked for several years before deciding to return to school. I was drawn to Respiratory Therapy after it was recommended to me by a Paramedic friend in the Pre-Health Sciences program. I was immediately drawn to its fast paced, hands-on nature, which addressed my combined desire to feel challenged and to help others.

I graduated in 2015 from Conestoga College and I have worked clinical bedside at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and Hamilton General Hospital ever since. In 2018, I began another journey into our profession as a part-time faculty member in the Respiratory Therapy program at Conestoga College. It has been incredibly rewarding combining my passion for patient care and teaching.

I am a strong believer in the power of teamwork and that no one achieves anything alone. I am looking forward to contributing to the many initiatives undertaken by the incredible team at the RTSO!
