The Ontario government has amended the Controlled Acts Regulation to permit anyone to administer COVID 19 vaccinations provided they do so as:

• a volunteer;
• part of a provincial vaccination program (e.g., through the local public health units); and
• under the supervision of an MD, RN, NP, or Pharmacist.

This regulation change does not impact Active CRTO members because they can already administer vaccines. However, it does apply to Inactive CRTO members and retired RTs.

You may sign up for this via the Ontario Matching Portal. Once logged in and registered, information will be provided regarding training, vaccination sites, etc.
