Healthcare Professional (RRT/RN/RPN – Full Time) – Ottawa, ON

As part of our Homecare team, you will provide ongoing care and management of Medigas Oxygen and Sleep (OSA) Therapy patients, with continuous education, pertinent healthcare services such as assessments, setup, and follow up services, consultation and promotion to referral sources, and completion of client documentation.

  • Assess, educate and initiate Home Oxygen therapy and Sleep Therapy

  • Provide ongoing follow-up to community based respiratory clients.

  • Set up and monitor BiLevel/CPAP and other related Respiratory devices Medigas showcases.

  • Completion of all necessary client documentation : order intake, progress notes, billing documentation and Ministry of Health forms

  • Education in the form of in-services to the medical/homecare communities

  • Comply with Linde Clinical Standards, Home Care Operating Model and Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Your Qualifications:

  • An RRT with current registration

  • LPN/RPN with current registration

  • Minimum of 2 years related experience

  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Effective communication, clinical and technical skills

  • Committed to client, organizational, and personal safety

  • Trustworthy with high ethical standards

  • Proof of full vaccination against the COVID-19 virus is required for this role. Fully vaccinated means having received the full series of a COVID-19 vaccine or combination of COVID-19 vaccines approved by the World Health Organization

    (WHO), for example:

    The full series of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized by Health Canada, or any combination of such vaccines

    One or two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine not authorized by Health Canada, or followed by one dose of a

    COVID-19mRNA vaccine authorized by Health Canada, or

    Three doses of a COVID-19 vaccine not authorized by Health Canada

    AND a third dose of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized by Health Canada if eligible for a third dose.
